Content notes
The manuscript material covers Cofer's entire career from early writings from the 1980s through the 2010s. The bulk of the manuscript material document her fictional works in the children and young adult genres, while also highlighting some non-fiction works and poetry collections. In some cases correspondence regarding specific manuscript drafts is mixed in with said drafts, and this order was preserved to maintain context. Occasional book cover designs and poetry chapbook layouts are also included with the manuscripts. The manuscripts series is divided by genre into 15 subseries. Within these subseries, materials are organized alphabetically by title and then chronologically by date.
