Content notes

AW included Seymour’s poem ‘There runs a dream’ in The Sun’s Eye, and used this image from another poem as the book’s title. Met regularly on AW’s subsequent visits to Guyana for Longmans, and through publication of My Lovely Native Land, an anthology of Guyanese writing compiled by Seymour and his wife, Elma.
