Correspondence and related papers of some leading West Indian writers and publishers dating from the early 1960s to 2000.

Wilson Harris features at folder level along with 17 other of AW's corespondents.

Harris corresponded with AW through her inclusion of his poem ‘Death of Hector, Tamer of Horses’ in The Sun’s Eye (refused for revised edition). Then, through the Caribbean Artists Movement, where he spoke at public sessions and conferences. Met and corresponded regularly thereafter, especially through shared interest and admiration for the work of the artist Aubrey Williams, a fellow Guyanese.
